Savita Kovind is the First Lady of India since 25 July 2017. She is the wife of the President of India, Ram Nath Kovind.

She was also the first lady of Bihar when Ram Nath Kovind was the governor of Bihar state (2015-2017). Savita has worked with Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). She started her career with MTNL as a telephone operator. Gradually getting promoted, she reached the Chief Section Supervisor but in the year 2005 she took voluntary retirement.

Savita Kovind was married to Ramnath Kovind in 1974. Her parents lived in Lajpat Nagar area of ​​Delhi. She came here from Lahore (in Pakistan) after the partition of the country and settled here in 1947. Now those people are not alive.

Despite being the wife of the MP, Savita Ramnath Kovind's son Prashant was very polite in the office, saying that his warts, aunts, maternal aunts all live in Delhi. Another female worker, who worked with Savita Kovind at MTNL, said that she worked under Savita Kovind for four years. Everyone in the office knew that she is the wife of an MP, despite this she is very polite and good-natured.

Ramnath Kovind's son has a petrol pump in Ghaziabad. Ramnath Kovind's son Prashant Kumar is the eldest of the two children. He also has a younger sister. Her name is Swati. Prashant, 41, runs a petrol pump near Hindon Air Force Station in Ghaziabad. Two years before that he was the cabin manager at Jet Airways.

Ramnath Kavind's daughter-in-law is a teacher at Air Force Bal Bharti School, has studied up to 12th standard from the famous Sardar Patel School in Delhi. She then did hotel management from the Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa.

Presidential Election

NDA candidate Ramnath Kovind has won the presidential election. With this victory it has been decided that Ramnath Kovind will take over as the 14th President of the country.

President Ramnath Kovind defeated UPA candidate Meira Kumari by a margin of about 3 lakh 34 thousand votes. Kovind has got 65.65 percent votes. While Meira Kumari got 35.34 percent votes. Kovind belongs to a very simple Dalit family.
